Last week my friend and I were talking to someone about standards of beauty in the Dark Ages. We were really shocked by that stuff, so we asked my friend Beth about it, and she screamed:
"No kidding?!.. Wow! I am so sick of hearing about the Dark Ages all the time!"
But then when my friend and I got to the part about the standards of beauty, Beth quieted down and began picking her nose. Then this morning, Beth's niece told me that the reason Beth was so freaked out was because she was watching about standards of beauty on TV.
